up to £24,000 per annum dependant on experience
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Manager to work closely alongside our Manager to ensure fantastic service of quality food and drink to our local community.

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, and and least 1 years experience working at a supervisory level.
You will be motivated by a passion for top quality customer service, and enjoy supervising, mentoring and training your team.
This is a public facing role, speaking confidently to build and maintain excellent relations with our customers to ensure a memorable visit.
Job Function:
To assist the Cafe Manager (and deputise in their absence) in all operations of the The Meadow Cafe. To meet agreed revenue and profit targets whilst maintaining exceptional quality of service to our customers and a safe and fulfilling workplace for our staff.
Main responsibilities:
To ensure the efficient and smooth running of The Meadow Cafe to provide the local community with an enjoyable and memorable cafe experience.

Supervising all aspects of running The Meadow Cafe during opening hours, working closely with the Cafe Manager

Ensuring fast but excellent service of all food and drink

Managing stock to minimise wastage

Completing stock takes with the Cafe Manager

Managing cafe staff: supervising the team, ensuring all tasks are completed during shifts, ensuring all training is complete and up to date

Motivating the team and encouraging high morale in the workplace

Promoting the products and the brand
-
Ensuring the cafe is kept clean and maintained
-
Deputise for the Cafe Manager in their absence and provide holiday/sickness cover when required
Demonstrated Skills:
-
Experience working in the hospitality sector at a supervisory level
-
Good knowledge of ‘coffee culture’ and competent as a skilled Barista
-
Can lead and motivate a team
-
Passionate and determined to shine in your job role
